WHY AMITY
What makes our approach different
Unhurried pace
We never rush a session. Families set the tempo and we follow, so every topic gets the space it needs.
Educational, not directive
Everything we share is framed as general information and practical organisation help — your family makes its own decisions.
Discreet & respectful
What you share with us stays within the session. We handle every detail with care for your privacy and dignity.
Signposting to official help
When a matter calls for formal guidance, we clearly point you to the right official bodies and professional services.
Plain language throughout
We keep jargon out of every session. Materials use clear, everyday words so all family members can follow along.
Local Phuket presence
Based in Thalang Road, Phuket Old Town — an accessible, familiar location for families across the island.
Is your family going through a transition?
A short conversation with our team costs nothing. We are happy to describe what each session involves and whether it fits what your household needs right now.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Things families often ask us
What exactly does a Conversation Care Session involve?
The session is a one-to-two-hour meeting — either with one family member or with several people together — focused on how to open and hold a difficult conversation. We share simple listening and speaking frameworks, walk through a sample dialogue, and leave you with a printed guide. We do not give advice on what decisions to make; we help with how to talk about them.
Is any of this legal or financial advice?
No. Amity provides educational information, communication support, and organisational tools only. We are not lawyers, financial planners, or counsellors. Where a topic requires professional guidance, we signpost you to the appropriate official body or registered practitioner.
How long does the Document Organizing Workshop take?
The workshop runs for approximately three hours in a small group of four to eight participants. We work through a set of plain checklists covering the main categories of household documents. You leave with labelled folders and a clear sense of what you have and what may still be needed.
Who is the Shared Plan & Family Summary Package for?
It suits households that want a simple, written record of how they have decided to handle shared matters — caregiving arrangements, household tasks, communication preferences, and similar topics. The package produces a plain written plan and a one-page summary sheet every family member keeps. It does not replace a legal document or formal agreement.
Can sessions be held in Thai as well as English?
Our primary delivery language is English. Please ask us when booking about Thai-language support — we can often arrange it for document materials, though facilitation may still require some English.
How do I pay, and is the fee refundable?
We accept bank transfer and cash. A 50% deposit confirms your booking. If you need to reschedule with at least 48 hours' notice, we carry the deposit forward to your new date. Please read our full Terms & Conditions for details on cancellations.
